About Heidi Leong
After fighting for her education in her teen years, Heidi had been told to get a college degree to proof that she was “worth-it.” She left her family and friends in Malaysia, came to United States to seek for her self-worth with her heart filled with determination and bravery. On her hardship journey, she discovered her path of Yoga and Meditation. This is Heidi’s continuing journey which embraces who we are with honesty and dignity. She has found this to be a potent way to rediscover self-worth and self-acceptance.
Heidi facilitates workshops and retreats of Mindfulness Yoga and Meditation. Her creative teaching style allows her students to be present in the moment, to recognize they always have a choice, and to choose to embrace their bodies, feelings and mental activities without judgement. Heidi especially enjoys teaching public classes and private lessons to beginner students.
